AVANCEM, an advanced engineering company belonging to MADEMAN GROUP, has been selected among the 101 companies recognised in the third edition of TOP 101 Spain Up Nation, a national initiative that recognises innovative entrepreneurship, growth potential and business impact in Spain.
The selection was made from 367 applications from across Spain through a regional and national evaluation process coordinated by the Spanish Association of Regional Development Agencies (Foro ADR) and the National Innovation Company (ENISA).
AVANCEM is one of five companies from Cantabria included in the 2026 selection, a recognition that highlights the region’s capacity for innovation and the development of new business ventures.
Advanced engineering for major technological challenges
Since its inception, AVANCEM has focused on developing engineering, manufacturing and systems integration solutions for technologically demanding environments.
The company specialises in vacuum technologies, cryogenics, mechanical engineering, radio frequency and microwaves, as well as the development and manufacture of components for major scientific facilities and advanced industrial applications.
Its activities span strategic fields such as fusion energy, particle accelerators, scientific infrastructure and the manufacture of high-precision technological systems.
One of its key recent milestones is securing three direct contracts with ITER Organization during 2026, strengthening its position as a technology supplier to one of the world’s largest scientific projects.
Innovation backed by industrial capabilities
One of the distinguishing features of AVANCEM’s model is the integration of advanced engineering with industrial capabilities in manufacturing, machining, welding, assembly, testing and quality control.
As part of MADEMAN GROUP, the company is supported by an industrial infrastructure of approximately 10,000 m², enabling it to undertake projects from the initial engineering stages through to the manufacture, integration and validation of components and systems.
In parallel, AVANCEM promotes research, development and innovation initiatives, including CORWAVE, which focuses on the development and industrialisation of advanced microwave transmission technologies for applications related to fusion energy.

Recognition that raises our profile
The TOP 101 Spain Up Nation recognition programme aims to raise the profile of innovative companies with potential for growth and economic, social or environmental impact.
The official presentation of the recognitions will take place on 18 November 2026 in Logroño, at an event bringing together innovative companies, institutions and representatives of Spain’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
