AVANCEM Engineering, a technology company belonging to MADEMAN GROUP, will take part in the Big Science Business Forum (BSBF 2026), to be held in Maastricht (the Netherlands) from 27 to 30 October 2026.
The company will be present as an exhibitor in the Spanish Pavilion, organised by CDTI Innovación, alongside other companies and organisations representing Spain’s scientific industry.
BSBF is one of Europe’s main meeting points for major international scientific infrastructures, technology companies and specialised industrial suppliers.
The 2026 edition will bring together representatives of organisations such as CERN, Fusion for Energy (F4E), ESS, FAIR, ESA, ESRF and European XFEL, as well as numerous companies and research centres involved in what is known as Big Science.
Advanced engineering and industrial manufacturing: an integrated model
AVANCEM’s participation in Maastricht will provide an opportunity to present a business model based on the integration of specialised engineering capabilities, technology development and industrial manufacturing.
The company develops solutions for technically demanding environments, with a particular focus on vacuum and ultra-high vacuum technologies, cryogenics, radiofrequency and microwaves, precision mechanical engineering and systems integration.

Experience in major scientific facilities
During the event, AVANCEM will showcase its experience in projects linked to international scientific facilities, including ITER, CERN, ESS and ALBA Sincrotrón.
Particular emphasis will be placed on presenting the three direct contracts secured with ITER Organization during 2026, covering different components and systems for the international fusion energy project.
The company will also showcase its engineering and manufacturing capabilities for vacuum systems, precision mechanical components, experimental facilities and equipment for advanced scientific applications.
Alongside its industrial activity, AVANCEM will present its research and technology development initiatives, particularly those related to radiofrequency technologies, microwave transmission and future applications in fusion energy.
New partnerships and international opportunities
Participation in BSBF 2026 forms part of AVANCEM’s internationalisation and technological specialisation strategy.
The event will provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships with scientific organisations, procurement managers, industrial companies and potential European technology partners.
It will also offer the opportunity to identify new projects, establish collaboration agreements and explore ways of jointly participating in contracts of considerable technical and industrial complexity.
